Product Line
Uncle Goose Blocks
The Uncle Goose brand is manufactured and distributed by Lindenwood, Inc., a specialty wood toy maker located in Grand Rapids, MI.
Over the years the toys at the heart of the Uncle Goose line have not changed. We continue the tradition of our founder, William Bultman, who began producing the highest quality American Made Alphabet Blocks from sustainable Michigan basswood in 1983. Our blocks meet all U.S. and European safety standards, and feature child-safe inks.
Specialty Blocks
Built with the same high quality standards as our Uncle Goose product line, our specialty block sets venure into more mature terrain by exploring themes such as Sudoku and Egyptian Hieroglyphic block sets.
Custom Blocks
For over 18 years, Uncle Goose Toys has been producing custom wood blocks for the retail and premium incentive and ad specialty market. We began as a manufacturer of traditional children's toys and immediately began making ad specialty versions of our toys. Because we manufacture all aspects in our factory, we can produce large quantities of high quality blocks within a few days. The list of promotional items we make includes blocks, puzzles, dominos, furniture, wood boxes, pen and pencil holders, and much more.
Froebel Gifts
Froebel's work lead to his invention of kindergarten - the concept that children should be nurtured from an early age, like new shoots on a plant. Through this metaphor, he coined the term "kinder-garten" or "garden of children." What Friedrich Froebel did was more than the coining of the word kindergarten or promoting the idea of preschool education. His contribution to education was not merely the founding of a school or the writing of a few books on
education or philosophy.
His gift to the world was to point us in the right direction for educating our children and ourselves. The Froebel Gifts are part of his vision, a profound understanding of relationships
between intelligence, the physical world, and our spiritual nature. The power and simplicity of his ideas is obvious, and the validity of his intuitions about learning can now be proven scientifically.
